– The Stonehill Skyhawks won the NE-10 Women's Cross Country title, while the American International College Yellow Jackets won the NE-10 Men's Cross Country title at the 2016 NE-10 Cross Country Championships held at Stonehill College on Saturday.

It was the eighth-straight women's title for Stonehill and 15th overall. For AIC, it was the Yellow Jackets' third men's title in a row.

The Skyhawks topped the women's field with 40 points, finishing with seven individuals in the top 15. After Borofski, Alexandra Bounfiglio and Anna Lastra also posted top-10 finishes for Stonehill. Assumption placed second with 82 points, followed by Bentley in third with 131. Merrimack came in fourth with 149 points, while Southern Connecticut rounded out the top 5 with 173 points.
