Undefeated Le Moyne Grabs Top Spot in NE10 Women's Lacrosse Championship

Le Moyne Tabbed No. 1 in NE10 Championship Seedings.


MANSFIELD, Mass. – After posting a perfect 13-0 record in Northeast 10 Conference play, and 17-0 overall, Le Moyne has claimed the No. 1 seed in the upcoming 2019 NE10 Women’s Lacrosse Championship – which is set to begin with the quarterfinals on Wednesday.

Le Moyne, defending NE10 and NCAA champion, is currently ranked No. 1 in the IWLCA Poll and would host the league semifinals and championship game if they win in the quarterfinals. Adelphi (14-2, 11-1 NE10), the No. 2 team in the country, is the second seed.

Pace (9-4 NE10) earned the third seed with a tiebreaker over Bentley (9-4 NE10), which enters the championship as the fourth seed. Assumption, New Haven, Merrimack and Stonehill round-out the programs that qualified for the NE10 Championship.

The highest remaining seed will host both the semifinals and final on Saturday and Sunday. The semifinal round is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, with the NE10 title game slated for Sunday, May 5.

All games throughout the NE10 Championship will be broadcast live on NE10 NOW.

* Pace, Bentley, Assumption and New Haven all finished 9-4. Within the mini-conference, Pace and Bentley were 2-1 and Assumption and New Haven were 1-2. Pace earned the #3 seed based on a head-to-head win vs. Bentley and Assumption earned the #5 seed based on a head-to-head win vs. New Haven.

Game 1: #8 Stonehill at #1 Le Moyne – 12:00 pm

Game 2: #7 Merrimack at #2 Adelphi – 4:00 pm

Game 3: #6 New Haven at #3 Pace – 7:00 pm

Game 4: #5 Assumption at #4 Bentley – 7:00 pm

Saturday, May 4th  

Semifinals (Final four at highest remaining seed)
Game 5: Game 1 winner vs. Game 4 winner

Game 6: Game 2 winner vs. Game 3 winner

Sunday, May 5th
