2011 Adelphi Women's Lacrosse, National Champions

Adelphi would 'three-peat' as women’s lacrosse national champions in 2011. The top-ranked team all season long, the Panthers capped off a perfect 20-0 campaign with a 17-4 win over Limestone in the championship game. The 13-goal margin remains the largest margin of victory in a championship game in Division II Women’s Lacrosse history.

Adelphi’s offense averaged 21 goals per game, while their top-ranked defense only allowed 119 goals throughout the season. Claire Peterson once again led the offense with 182 points, including 125 assists, while Erica Devito’s 77 goals were tops in the country.
