SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior
Garrett Beyor (Monson, Mass.) of the
American International College men's golf team will tee off at
12:50 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the NCAA Division II Men's
Golf Championship Tournament, which will be held at The Sagamore
Golf Club in Noblesville, Indiana May 18-21.
Beyor, who will tee off at 8:20 a.m. in the second round Wednesday and is the only competitor from the Northerast-10, qualified as an individual after placing fourth at the Atlantic/East Super Regional with a six-over par 222 (71-71-80). The Yellow Jackets missed advancing to the national championship as a team by just one stroke.
The championship is co-hosted by the University of Indianapolis, the Great Lakes Valley Conference, Hamilton County Sports Authority and Indiana Sports Corp.
