NE10 Player of the Week
Mike Talavera, Southern Connecticut

In a 4-2 week, Talavera hit .600 (12-20) with a .600 on-base percentage and a .700 slugging while driving in 10 runs and scoring five more with five stolen bases. Against Bentley in a 10-2 win, Talavera was 3-for-5 with three RBI. He followed with a 4-for-4 day, with two doubles, against Molloy in a 13-5 win. Talavera drove in three runs, scored three more, and stole two bases. Against Felician in a loss, Talavera was 2-for-3 with three RBI and two stolen bases.
NE10 Pitcher of the Week
Jagger Duquette, Southern Connecticut

Owls' transfer Jagger Duquette picked up a pair of wins for the week as Southern defeated Bentley, 10-2, and Felician, 2-1. Against Bentley, Duquette held the Falcons to two runs over fiving innings. Against Felician, Duquette had an 11-strikeout complete game in which he allowed four hits with Felician scored one uneared run. For the week, he was 2-0 with a 1.29 ERA, a 0.86 WHIP and had 13 strikeouts in 14 innings pitched.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Nater Wachter, Southern New Hampshire
Freshman | Outfield | Concord, N.H.
Wachter went 4-for-11 (.364) with three extra-base hits, including a home run, four RBI and three runs scored, while drawing a pair of walks. He slashed .462/.818/1.280. Wachter's top performance came in a 10-2 win over Post on Sunday when he went 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Jose Matos, Adelphi (Gr., C - Coram, N.Y.)
Matos had another strong week for the Panthers, batting .400 with three runs scored, a home run and two RBI. He tallied two doubles and slugged at a .733 clip. Matos went 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI in a 8-4 come-from-behind win over Pace on Saturday (Mar. 16). The next day, Matos delivered the game-tying solo homer in the rubber game of the series.
Jackson Haker, American Int'l (Jr., 3B - Uxbridge, Mass.)
Haker had another strong week for AIC, collecting multiple hits in three straight conference games and slashing .412/.450/.647 over four games total as he went 7-for-17 with four doubles, drove in three, and scored four runs.
Christopher Manzo, Assumption (Jr., INF - East Greenwich, R.I.)
Manzo went 5-for-8 at the plate, including three home runs and six RBI. He became the 13th player in Division II this year to hit three home runs in a single game, as he blasted a trio in Assumption's third game against Queens College. The three-home run performance also tied a program record, which was last accomplished by Jake Hamel, who hit three against Franklin Pierce on April 2, 2022.
Pat Heber, Bentley (So., P - Garden City, N.Y.)
Heber pitched seven innings and struck out nine in a 16-3 win over Caldwell. He allowed just five hits.
Tim Zupkus, Bentley (Gr., OF - Middlebury, Conn.)
Zupkus batted .526 (10-19) and had a .600 on base percentage in five games last week, in which the powerful Falcons' offense scored double-digit runs in four of them. He had three hits in three games and five RBI during the week. He also had a perfect 1.000% fielding percentage in a 4-1 week for Bentley.
Matt McIntire, New Haven (So., INF - Williamstown, N.J.)
In five games of work last week, McIntire led the Chargers at the plate with a .375 average, connecting on six hits in 16 at bats with eight RBI. He also finished with four walks and scored four runs. Among his six hits were three home runs and a triple. His highlight of the week came in the penultimate game in Boca Raton where he went 4-for-6 with 7 RBI and three runs scored, with three of his hits going for extra bases on a triple and a pair of home runs all against Post.
Patrick Gleason, Pace (Sr., P - Valhalla, N.Y.)
Gleason pitched eight innings in Pace's 13-1 victory over Adelphi Friday afternoon. Gleason allowed two hits and one run while striking out two batters.
Matthew Rinaldi, Pace (Sr., OF - Scarsdale, N.Y.)
Rinaldi led the way for Pace in a 4-1 week - tallying a team-high five RBI while batting .318. Five of Rinaldi's seven hits were extra-base hits including a triple and a home run.
Vince Venditti, Saint Rose (Jr., UT - Burnt Hills, N.Y.)
Venditti posted a .462 batting average and a .563 on-base percentage to help Saint Rose sweep American International in a three-game weekend series. In addition to providing five runs, two RBI and one steal, Venditti touched home to give the Golden Knights a walk-off win game one on Saturday.
Parker Lendrum, Southern N.H. (So., P - Exeter, N.H.)
Lendrum earned the win in an 8-3 victory over Post in game one of Saturday's doubleheader, as he tossed 8.2 innings, allowing three runs - two earned - on six hits, while striking out five and not walking a batter.
