PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - On Sunday, August 25, the Pace University football Team hosted the third annual DJ Henry Memorial Youth Football Clinic at Pace Field on the Pleasantville campus. Over 100 football players from the surrounding towns came to participate in the clinic and ran through drills with the team.

Each child received season tickets to the 2013 season, a schedule magnet, and the 2013 Pace Football game day t-shirt. Local youth football organizations from towns such as White Plains, Ossining, Pleasantville, Greenburgh, Cortlandt, and Briarcliff were on hand to show support for the upcoming season. The event concluded with a meet and greet with the players and coaches where each participant received free pizza. To watch a video recap click here.

"Connecting with our community is very important to Pace Football and we had a great response from the surrounding towns this year," added Director of Athletics Mark Brown.

The Pace Football team is set to launch their 2013 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Alderson Broaddus in Phillipi, W.V. at 12:00 p.m.  The Setters open their home slate of games on Saturday, Sept. 21 as they will host American International College at 1:00 p.m. All service men and women will receive free admission and will be recognized prior to kick-off as Pace Football celebrates Military Appreciation Day.
