NE10 Player of the Week

David Ciancio, Saint Michael's
Junior | Defenseman | Scituate, R.I.

Ciancio turned in two goals and an assist while going +2 and blocking eight shots during a 2-0 weekend at Manhattanville, aiding a defense that allowed only one 5-on-5 goal. He scored a shorthanded tally while blocking a trio of shots in a 3-2 overtime win on Friday before adding the game-winning goal, an assist and five blocks during a 6-4 victory on Saturday.

NE10 Goaltender of the Week

Sean Guerin, Southern New Hampshire
Freshman | Goaltender | Chicago, I.L.

In his first game, SNHU freshman Sean Guerin stopped 35 shots for a .972 save percentage in a 2-1 overtime win over Framingham State on Saturday night.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Jonathan Surrette, Assumption
Freshman | Forward | Woburn, Mass.

Surrette was a massive part of Assumption's 2-0-0 start of the year, as he logged three points in his opening weekend. Against Nichols, Surrette recorded two points, one goal, and one assist, with a +2 +/-. He continued his strong start, scoring a goal against Anna Maria in the Greyhounds 5-4 win in the Woo Cup Championship.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Ronny Paragallo, Assumption (Fr, F - Huntington, N.Y.)
Paragallo recorded three points in a 2-0-0 week for the Greyhounds. On Friday against Nichols, he scored the game-winning goal halfway through the third period. Paragallo scored a goal on Sunday and assisted on another as Assumption defeated Anna Maria 5-4 to win the Woo Cup.

Thomas McLarnon, Assumption (Sr, G - Fountainville, Penn.)
McLarnon started the year strong with a pair of wins. Against Nichols, he logged 23 saves in the win in the opening round of the Woo Cup, knocking off the two-time defending champions. On Sunday, McLarnon recorded 36 saves in a 5-4 win over Anna Maria. In two games, he supported a 3.00 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage.

Jeremy Connor, Franklin Pierce (So., G - Hazlet, N.J.)
In Saturday's win over Post, Connor allowed two goals 35 shots had a .943 save percentage. On the weekend, Connor had a 2.66 goals allowed average, and a .922 save percentage, backstopping the Raven's to a 1-1 opening weekend.

Matt Horan, Franklin Pierce (So., F - Methuen, Mass.,)
Horan had two goals on the weekend. His power play goal on Saturday's win over Post opened up scoring in the second period for the Ravens, who would than go on to score three unanswered goals to take home the first win of the year.

Nick Brewer, Post (Sr., D - Traverse City, Mich.)
As a defender, Brewer recorded one goal and one assist this weekend while being +1 for the week.

Brendan Lynch, So. New Hampshire (So., F - Nepean, Ontario)
Lynch had a hand in both Penmen goals as SNHU rallied to beat Framington State 2-1 in overtime in Saturday's season-opener. Lynch assisted on the tying goal by Ryan Pomposelli and then scored the game-winner with a slap shot with 50 seconds left in the OT

Marshall Murphy, Saint Michael's (Sr., G - Little Canada, Minn.)
Murphy posted a 2.95 goals allowed average, a .918 save percentage and 33.5 saves per game during a 2-0 weekend at Manhattanville, allowing only one 5-on-5 goal. He made 30 stops in a 3-2 overtime win on Friday before denying another 37 shots in a 6-4 win on Saturday.
