The two top seeds - Le Moyne and Merrimack - in the 2016 Men's Lacrosse Championship
will play for the title on Sunday afternoon for an NE-10 title.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The second-ranked and top-seeded Le Moyne men's lacrosse team scored the first 14 goals of the game en route to a 15-3 win over fourth-seeded Southern New Hampshire on Friday afternoon in the semifinals of the Northeast-10 Conference Championship at Ted Grant Field.
The Dolphins, who improved to 16-0 on the season, advance to their 16th Northeast-10 Conference title game in their 20 seasons in the league and will take on second-seeded and third-ranked Merrimack on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. After giving up a 13-7 third-quarter lead against eighth-ranked and third-seeded Adelphi, the Warriors defeated the Panthers with 38 seconds left in triple overtime, 14-13.

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - Merrimack's Jack Trask scored the game-winning goal with 38 seconds left in the third overtime period as the second-seeded Warriors defeated third-seeded Adelphi earlier today.
After leading 7-6 at the break, Merrimack outscored Adelphi 6-3 in the third quarter and led 13-9 with 15 minutes left in regulation. The Panthers would respond in impressive fashion, however, scoring the only four goals of the 4th quarter. NE-10 Player of the Year scored the equalizer with just :10 left in regulation to send the game into overtime.
Neither team scored in either of the first two overtimes, but Trask was able to find the back of the net with under a minute left in the third extra period. It was his third goal of the game, and sends Merrimack to the NE-10 title game on Sunday afternoon, where they'll take on top-seeded Le Moyne Sunday at 1 p.m.
