Owls, Skyhawks Tabbed by NE10 Coaches to Repeat as Champions

MANSFIELD, Mass. - The Southern Connecticut Men's track and field team and the Stonehill Women's team have been picked by the Northeast-10 Conference coaches to repeat as champions at this weekend's Conference Championships. The two-day event begins tomorrow and will take place at Southern Connecticut State University. To see the complete results of the voting, see below.

The Owls, who received 78 total points and six first place nods narrowly edged out American International for the top spot in the men's voting. The Yellow Jackets earned 72 points and two first place selections. Stonehill received 68 points to finish third in the voting. On the women's side, the defending champions from Stonehill recieved all but one first place vote and 99 points overall. Southern Connecticut was tabbed to finish second with 88 points and the remaining first place selection. Assumption rounded out the top three as the Hounds earned 83 points in the coaches' voting.
