Miller Adds to Impressive Postseason Awards Haul.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Saint Anselm's CJ Miller continues to reap the awards from his remarkable 2019 season, most recently earning a spot on the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-America Second Team, as announced by the organization on Thursday.

Miller, crowned a First Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) as well as Northeast-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year, led the Hawks in tackles (107), tackles per game (9.7), sacks (10.5) and tackles for a loss (14) this season.

The senior linebacker, who also received All-New England honors following the season's conclusion, helped lead the Hawks (4-7, 4-4 NE10) to their first three-game winning streak in five seasons – finishing just one victory shy of matching the team record for NE10 victories.

He recorded seven double-digit tackle games in the 2019 season, recording at least one sack in all but two games. Among active Division II student-athletes, Miller's 145 career assisted tackles stand as 19th-most in the nation and his 282 career total tackles place him in the top-25.

Overall, three NE10 football players earned All-America honors this season. Assumption's Quentin Hall joined Miller as an AFCA First Team selection, while Stonehill's Justin Felder was a Second Team pick.
