NE10 with Third-Most Selections of any Division II Conference in Nation.


MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference placed 17 football student-athletes on the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society as announced on Wednesday, which is the third-most players of any Division II conference in the country.

The 2020 NFF Hampshire Honor Society is comprised of college football players from all divisions who maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their collegiate careers. Honorees must have also completed their final year of playing eligibility and been a starter or significant contributor through the 2019 season.

Only two DII leagues – the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) – had more Hampshire Honor Society recipients. The NE10 had five member institutions represented on the list, with Stonehill recording a league-best nine selections.

In 2019, the NE10 placed 14 student-athletes on the Hampshire Honor Society, increasing their total this season by three. Bentley's Jack Hansbury, the 2019 NE10 Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, was one of the 14 honored a year ago.

The NE10 is an association of 14 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.
