MANSFIELD, Mass. - Long Island University Post completed its league schedule with a 10-1 record and won the 2014 regular season title and earned the No. 1 seed in the upcoming conference championship, which begins Tuesday with a pair of first-round games.
As a result of earning the top seed, LIU Post, ranked No. 4 in the nation, receives a bye into the semifinal round, as does second-seeded Stonehill College (9-2 NE-10). Both will host a semifinal game on Friday.

Tuesday's first-round contest will feature third-seeded Adelphi
University hosting sixth-seeded Bentley University (6-5 NE-10) at
4:00 p.m. and fifth-seeded Assumption College (7-4 NE-10) traveling
to fourth-seeded American International College (7-4 NE-10) for a
7:00 p.m. contest.
The Northeast-10 Conference will be broadcasting the field hockey championship final live at northeast10.tv on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 1:00 p.m. The highest remaining seed will host the contest.
The conference will also be providing live updates of all conference championship games on its Twitter feed (@TheNortheast10).
