NE10 Player & Rookie of the Week

Dawson Long, American International
Freshman | Attack | Highlands Ranch, Colo.

Long had an incredible debut for the Yellow Jackets, scoring five times and adding an assist in a 15-6 win over St. Thomas Aquinas. Remarkably, four of his goals came while the Yellow Jackets were shorthanded, including a two-man-down tally. He also forced three turnovers on the ride and grabbed five ground balls.

NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Carter Linkletter, American International
Freshman | LSM | Calgary, Alb.

Linkletter dominated everywhere on the field in AIC's 15-6 win over St. Thomas Aquinas. The long-stick midfielder won four of five draws with the pole, scored a goal and added an assist, and forced four turnovers while grabbing seven ground balls in the victory.

NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Mike Masterpolo, Franklin Pierce
Junior | Goalkeeper | Kingston, Mass.

Masterpolo had a solid start to his junior year season after he recored 11 saves in the Ravens win over D'Youville on Saturday, which ended 14-5. Through nearly 54 minutes, he only allowed 5 goals as he secured his first and a team first win of the year.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Ryan Healey, Assumption (Sr., A - Westwood, Mass.)
Healey paced the Greyhounds with two goals and two assists for four points in Assumption's opening game at No. 8/10 Mercy.

Andy DeMattio, Franklin Pierce (Sr., SSM - North Attlenoro, Mass.)
DeMattio kicked off his senior year with a big day at the midfield, where he collected 10 ground balls off. Playing on the wings during faceoffs, DeMattio was a force collecting the majority of his ground balls there. Possesions lead to goals, and DeMattio capitalized after he poured on two goals as the Ravens took down D'Youville 14-5.

Conor Rooney, Franklin Pierce (Sr., M - Wilmington, Mass.)
Rooney kicked off his senior year campaign with six points on Saturday as the Franklin Pierce University Ravens took down D'Youville 15-5. Chipping in two goals, Rooney opened up a list of offensive opportunities which led to 4 assists to his teammates. With just four shots on net, two went by the goalie proving for a solid start to the year for Rooney and the Ravens.

Cam Smith, Saint Rose (Sr., A - West Springfield, Mass.)
Smith's 2024 season got off to a hot start, as he posted seven goals in the first two contests of the spring for the Golden Knights. The highlight of his week came at home against Bridgeport on Sunday, where he totaled six goals, three ground balls, and two caused turnovers.

Michael Castelli, Saint Rose (Sr., M - Mohegan Lake, N.Y.)
Castelli caused two turnovers and had six ground balls in the Golden Knights 21-5 win over Bridgeport on Sunday. The long-pole also netted a goal while helping Saint Rose post a second-half shutout.

Ryan Lynch, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., GK - Derry, N.H.)
In his first game with the program, Lynch scored four goals. Three of his goals came in the first quarter of the 11-10 loss to Molloy Saturday.
