NE10 Player of the Week
Ryan Kemp, Pace
Graduate l Attack l Basking Ridge, N.J.
Kemp tallied 11 points off eight goals and 3 assists in a 2-0 week for the No. 10 Setters. Kemp led the way against Assumption, posting five goals for the second time this season while handing out three assists and causing one turnover. Against the Purple Knights, Kemp posted a hat trick with three goals to go alongside three ground balls.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Kyle Lewis, Adelphi
Sophomore | Midfield | Franklin Square, N.Y.
Lewis posted a team leading six caused turnovers through two games while also adding three goals and four helpers. In NE10 action, Lewis was responsible for a career-best five caused turnovers against Franklin Pierce from the midfield, helping the defense hold the Ravens to just two goals.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Dylan Renner, Adelphi
Senior | Goalkeeper | Roslyn Heights, N.Y.
Renner was the last line of defense in a week where Adelphi held its opponents to less than 10 goals combined. He was responsible for 16 saves including seven against NE10 foe Franklin Pierce, improving to 10-2 on the year.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Elijah Martin, Saint Rose
Freshman l Midfield l Cicero, N.Y.
Martin scored five goals and dished out four assists in an unbeaten week for Saint Rose. Martin netted two scores and added a helper in the Golden Knights' win over Franklin Pierce on Tuesday before posting a team-high six points on three goals and three assists in Saturday's victory at AIC.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Eamon Hall, Adelphi (Sr., A - Massapequa, N.Y.)
Hall recorded 10 goals and four assists in a 2-0 week while collecting three ground balls. His seven goals against Molloy was a near record for the Panthers as he went on to add four helpers for 11 points.
Ries Bower, AIC (Fr., D - Lethbridge, Alb.)
Bower continued to climb the rankings defensively, with seven caused turnovers to become just the second player in NE10 history to reach 50 caused turnovers in a season. He notched an assist and grabbed eight ground balls in the two games as well.
Patrick McGrath, Assumption (So., A - Sarasota, Fla.)
McGrath tallied seven goals and two assists in a pair of games. On Tuesday the sophomore recorded five goals and one assist for six points at No. 10 Pace. McGrath capped off the week with two goals and an assist against No. 8 Saint Anselm.
Nicholas Thorn-Guillaro, Bentley (Sr., A - Wilbraham, Mass.)
Thorn-Guillaro led the Falcons with nine goals this week in wins over SNHU and Saint Michael's. He had five in Saturday's win over the Penmen and four in an OT win over the Purple Knights.
Jack Kern, Pace (So, GK - Great River, N. Y.)
Kern held firm between the pipes for No. 10 Pace in two wins, coming against Assumption and Saint Michael's. Making a combined 33 saves on the week, 15 against Assumption and 18 against SMC, Kern saved 61.1 percent of the shots he faced.
Craig Yannone, Saint Anselm (Sr., FO - Lynnfield, Mass.)
Yannone had an impressive faceoff performance for No. 8 Saint Anselm during a 14-11 road win over American International College. He won a career-high 23 faceoffs as well as a scooping up a career-high 20 ground balls. He has the sixth-best faceoff wins in the league (74-106) and is also tied for sixth in the conference with 40 total ground balls this season.
Sean Regan, Saint Michael's (Jr., GK - Pittsford, N.Y.)
Regan posted a .508 save percentage, 15.5 saves per game and 3.5 ground balls per outing against a pair of nationally-ranked teams last week. Regan made a career-high 19 saves with three ground balls in a 16-15 overtime loss to No. 14 Bentley on Tuesday before turning aside another 13 shots and picking up four ground balls versus No. 14 Pace on Saturday in a 15-11 setback.
Sebastian Simonson, Saint Michael's (Jr., A - Spruce Grove, Alb.)
Simonson scored eight goals and four assists while scoring on 50.0% of his shots against a pair of nationally-ranked opponents last week. He notched a hat trick and two assists with one caused turnover in a 16-15 overtime loss to No. 14 Bentley on Tuesday before totaling five goals, two assists and two ground balls against No. 10 Pace on Saturday in a 15-11 setback. Simonson scored the game's first two goals versus the Setters en route to potting a hat trick in the first 4:07 of play.
Cam Smith, Saint Rose (Sr., A - West Springfield, Mass.)
Smith Added seven goals to his 43 total this season. He also had seven ground balls in a 2-0 week.
Eoghan Sweeney, Saint Rose (Sr., FO - Niskayuna, N.Y.)
Sweeney was nearly unbeatable and finished 39-43 at the faceoff X this week, going 19-20 vs Franklin Pierce on Wednesday.
