NE10 Player of the Week

Ashley Cangiano, Franklin Pierce
Senior | Outfielder/Catcher | North Attleboro, Mass.

Cangiano tallied a solid week, helping the Ravens to a 3-1 week. Cangiano drove in eight runs and scored six more while batting .438.

NE10 Pitcher of the Week

Gisselle Garcia, Pace
Junior l Pitcher l Lemon Grove, CA

Garcia continued to dominate with a 0.78 ERA in 18 innings for the week. She tossed her second no-hitter of the season Sunday with 11K and had 28 total strikeouts for the week.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Zoey McDonough, Assumption
Freshman l Pitcher l North Attleboro, Mass.

McDonough recorded her first collegiate win, pitching 5.0 innings. She struck out five and allowed just one hit in Assumption's 7-1 win over Post on Wednesday

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Lindsey Hibbs, Adelphi (Sr., P - Brampton, Ont.)
Hibbs allowed just two earned runs across her three appearances this week. She also struck out 22 batters, part of a stretch that gave her sole possession of Adelphi's career K record at 791.

Samantha Sanchez, American Int'l (Jr., C/INF- Mount Kisko, N.Y.)
Sanchez put together arguably the best four-game stretch of her career as she went 8-for-13 for a .615 batting average, scoring twice and racking up six runs batted in, including a walk-off hit in the bottom of the 7th in a come-from-behind win over Staten Island.

Meg Anderson, New Haven (Sr., 1B - Cranston, R.I.)
Anderson led New Haven at the plate in its two games last week, going a combined 2-of-5 for a .400 average. She also drove in two runs, with one of her two hits going for extra bases.

Riley Jenkins, Pace (So., 1B - San Diego, Calif.)
Jenkins batted .556 in the week in 18 at-bats totaling six RBIs off ten total hits. Jenkins started in all six games for Pace scoring two runs while knocking three extra-base hits.

Gabriella Festa, SCSU (Jr., - C/IF - Patchogue, N.Y.)
Festa hit .600 (3-for-5) in a doubleheader sweep of Mercy with a .600 on-base percentage and 1.200 slugging percentage. In the first game, Festa was 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and two runs scored. In the second game, she was 1-for-2 with a run scored.

Jessica Perucki, SCSU (Gr., P - West Milford, N.J.)
In her only game of the week, Perucki tossed a complete-game, three-hitter against Mercy in a 7-1 win, with Mercy's lone run standing as unearned. Perucki was dominant once-again, striking out seven in seven innings while walking just one batter and allowing just three hits. She also added two RBI at the plate.
