NE-10 Standout Ukonu Signs NFL Deal

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - LIU Post football senior offensive lineman Golden Ukonu realized his dream late Saturday night, when he signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League.

Ukonu's agency, U-Sports, confirmed the news early Sunday morning.

Ukonu, a two-year starter for the Pioneers, played in 22 games in his two seasons (2011, 2015) in Brookville. He looks to join former standout Ian Smart, who was the last Pioneer to make an NFL roster (Tampa Bay).
