MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University ice hockey team presented a check for $1500 to Team IMPACT teammate CJ Davies at its awards banquet on Saturday, April 20.  The money will allow Barbara, CJ's mother, to meet her goal of raising $1500 in the annual North Andover Great Strides walk for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on Saturday, May 18.

Davies is a member of the Penmen hockey team battling cystic fibrosis drafted through Team IMPACT, a non-profit organization serving children facing life-threatening diseases by matching them with college athletic teams.  The So. New Hampshire hockey players raised the money by selling purple and white cystic fibrosis awareness bracelets with the slogan "IWillFightOn", which is CJ's Twitter handle.
