Dolphins receive nine first-place votes in annual coaches' preseason poll

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – Le Moyne College has been selected atop the 2013 Northeast-10 Conference Men's Lacrosse Preseason Poll, as voted upon by the conference's head coaches.

The Dolphins received nine first-place votes and 119 points to take hold of the top position in the voting.

Le Moyne (17-1, 10-0 NE-10) is coming off a 2012 season in which it won 17 straight to begin the year, including a 10-7 victory over Merrimack College in the Northeast-10 Championship game, before falling to Limestone in the national semifinals.

Merrimack (13-3, 8-2 NE-10) finished second in the coaches' preseason poll with 108 points and a pair of first-place votes, narrowly ousting Adelphi University (13-3, 8-2 NE-10), which finished with 106 points and one first-place tally.
