CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET

Le Moyne College and Saint Michael's College both earned opening round victories as play in the 2013 Northeast-10 Men's Lacrosse Championship began this afternoon.

The wins by the Dolphins and the Purple Knights set up a Northeast-10 Conference final four in which each of the four teams still playing has been ranked nationally virtually the entire season.

#3 Le Moyne 13, #6 Saint Anselm 6 | BOX SCORE

Syracuse, N.Y. - Third-seeded Le Moyne scored the first four goals of the game en route to a first round victory over sixth-seeded Saint Anselm College earlier this afternoon in Syracuse, N.Y. With the win, the Dolphins will head to Merrimack to take on the Warriors Friday evening at 7 p.m. in one semifinal showdown.

Kevin Kelly (three goals and one assist) and Joe Corapi (two goals and two assists) each tallied four points en route to the win.  After opening up the early 4-0 advantage, Saint Anselm would score consecutive goals to cut the Le Moyne lead to 4-2.  The Dolphins, however, would score three staight times prior to the half en route to the win.

#4 Saint Michael's 7, #5 Southern New Hampshire 2 | BOX SCORE

Colchester, Vt. - Pete Donnally, pictured, had two goals and an assist as the Purple Knights advanced to the semifinal round of the 2013 Northeast-10 Men's Lacrosse Championship with a 7-2 win over So. New Hampshire.

After the team's traded goals early on in the action, Saint Michael's outscored So. New Hampshire 6-1 on their way to the win.  The two goals allowed represent a season-low for the Purple Knights, who will now travel to Adelphi to take on the top-seeded Panthers in one semifinal Friday afternoon.
