Top-seeded Adelphi University will host Sunday's Northeast-10 Men's Lacrosse Championship following its 22-6 victory over fourth-seeded Saint Michael's College on Friday afternoon. Adelphi draws third-seeded Le Moyne College, which traveled to second-seeded Merrimack College Friday night and earned an 8-4 win in the other semifinal contest.
Sunday's title game gets underway at 1:00 p.m. at Motamed Field. The championship contest will also be broadcasted live online at no cost at northeast10.tv.

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - After throwing
down six goals in the opening period, the Panthers flexed their
offensive power by tacking on 14 over the next two quarters and
closing with two more in the final frame to come away with a
commanding 22-6 victory. With the win, the Brown and Gold bump
their record to 13-1 while the Purple Knights are ousted from the
championship at 11-5.
A total of 15 players registered at least one point while
nine had multiple-point games. No one topped
senior Nick Watson as
he recorded a career high of eight points on six assists and two
goals. Ikerson Hopper found
the back of the cage a game high four times while six of his
teammates chipped in with two goals each.
All four of the Panthers' goalkeepers saw time in cage with
graduate student Eric Janssen earning
the win after logging the first 30 minutes and allowing just two
goals while making six saves.
For Saint Michael's, Marty Vanzo
did most of the leg work as he accounted for half of his team's
goals while earning two of their three assists. Pete
Donnally, DJ Dauria and
Austin Driscoll all found the back of the
net once.
#3 Le Moyne 8,
#2 Merrimack 4 - BOX
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - The Dolphins owned a 5-1 advantage
at the half and a 7-2 lead with 13:32 to play in the fourth en
route to their road victory at Merrimack on Friday night. Le Moyne
moves to 14-2 on the year, while Merrimack falls to 11-3 and now
awaits Sunday night's NCAA selection show.
Dolphins goalkeeper Jeff White was extraordinary in the cage, turning aside 16 of the 20 shots he faced to help lead Le Moyne to the finals on Sunday.
Tyler Prevost had a goal and four assists for Le Moyne, while Nate Frechette scored twice for the victors. Five other Dolphins all scored once in the win as well.
Northeast-10 Player of the Year Corey Lunney paced Merrimack with a pair of goals in the loss. Connor Reagan made six saves in goal for the Warriors.
