Northeast-10 Women’s Lacrosse All-Conference Teams Announced; Geremia Tabbed Player of the Year

Le Moyne’s Erica Geremia Named NE-10 Player of the Year

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Le Moyne junior attacker Erica Geremia has been named the 2015 Northeast-10 Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Year, it was announced by the League office on Thursday. Geremia was given the accolade by the league’s head coaches following all-conference voting.

Geremia currently leads the league in points with 105, including 81 in Northeast-10 contests. She has totaled 61 goals and 44 assists thus far, leading the nationally-ranked Dolphins to a 16-2 overall record and 12-1 mark in conference play.

The Midfield of the Year award went to New Haven’s Kathryn Campbell for the second year in a row. The first-teamer has racked up 77 points on 49 goals and 28 assists while picking up 49 ground balls and causing 32 turnovers.

Molly Marbut of Le Moyne was selected as the NE-10 Goalkeeper of the Year after leading the conference in save percentage at 55 percent (57.9 percent in NE-10 play). She has a goals against average of 6.27 overall and has made 121 saves so far.

New Haven’s Brittany Ast was tabbed as the league’s Defensive Player of the Year. Ast has picked up 52 ground balls and caused 27 turnovers thus far in the 2015 season.

Southern New Hampshire’s Kennedy Daziel was named NE-10 Rookie of the Year after a successful freshman season for the Penmen. She put together 29 points, including 24 goals, and had 32 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers.

New Haven’s Jen Fallon was once again voted as the Northeast-10 Coach of the Year. Fallon guided the Chargers to an 11-2 record in the conference and currently has her squad nationally ranked at 15-2 overall. 

Adelphi had the most selections overall, including six first-team honorees.
