Mansfield, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference had 17 male and female student-athletes earn CoSIDA At-Large Academic All-District honors for their success in the classroom and in competition this year, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Thursday.

In the At-Large teams, the 17 student-athletes were spread across six different sports, highlighted by swimming with five and then lacrosse with four selections. Golf and field hockey each had three honorees.

Bentley led all schools with four men's and women's selections, while Pace and Southern New Hampshire each had three. In total, nine different NE10 schools had at least one honoree. Representing Bentley were Tess Anderson (field hockey), Tommy Ethier (men's golf), Ellis Yoder (men's golf) and Mark Zoda (men's swimming). Jana Ciric (women's swimming), Daniel Lewis (men's lacrosse) and Filip Turecky (men's swimming) represented Pace.

SNHU's Bas van Biezen (men's tennis) and field hockey teammates Hélène Servais & Laura van der Doorn were also selected. Also representing the NE10 were Adelphi's Alison Johnson (women's lacrosse), Le Moyne's Nicholas Barney (men's golf) & Hannah George (women's lacrosse), Saint Michael's Will Moriarty (men's lacrosse), Southern Connecticut's Avery Fornaciari (women's swimming), Stonehill's Matthew Schoen (ice hockey) and Saint Rose's Colleen Quaglia (women's swimming).

The 2020 Academic All-District Teams, selected by CoSIDA membership, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America program recognizes honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

First Team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot, with first, second and third team Academic All-America honorees announced in early June.
