Saint Rose and Southern Connecticut Basketball Doubleheader to be Broadcast Nationally on ASN

NE-10 Featured as Part of American Sports Network's Division II Showcase

MANSFIELD, Mass. - The College of Saint Rose and Southern Connecticut State University basketball programs will be featured on national television as part of the American Sports Network's Division II Showcase when the Owls visit the Golden Knights on Saturday, February 13. The women's game will now get underway at 2:00 pm, while the men's contest will tip-off at 4:00 pm to accommodate the television broadcasts.
 
"Saint Rose is honored and excited to be selected to serve as the host for the NCAA Division II Basketball National Showcase games on ASN on February 13," said Cathy Haker, Director of Athletics and Recreation. "This doubleheader with Southern Connecticut State provides a great opportunity for our institutions to showcase our student-athletes throughout the country in an exciting Northeast-10 Conference matchup."
 
"It is a tremendous honor for Southern Connecticut State University and its men's and women's basketball teams to be selected along with Saint Rose for the Division II Showcase," said SCSU Director of Athletics Jay Moran. "Our games with Saint Rose are always extremely competitive and exciting, and we're hoping for more of the same in front of a national television audience."
 
The games will be offered to all Sinclair Broadcast affiliates across the country for optional and to all Regional Sports Networks (e.g. Time Warner, Comcast, NESN, etc.). They will also be streamed live, free of charge, on www.ncaa.com and the NCAA Sports Mobile App.
