NE10 Player of the Week

Kelly-Ann McGrath, Adelphi
Senior | Midfield | Franklin Square, N.Y.

In a season-opening victory, McGrath led the scoring with four goals while adding one assist for five points. She also led the team with seven draw control victories and played both sides of the ball, causing two turnovers alongside two ground balls. 

NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Layne Walther, Southern New Hampshire
Senior | Defense | Center Moriches, N.Y.

Walther collected four ground balls and caused a turnover in SNHU's 21-2 season-opening victory at St. Thomas Aquinas on Sunday.

NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Nicole Mirra, Southern New Hampshire
Freshman | Goalkeeper | Cicero, N.Y.

Mirra stopped six of the seven shots she faced playing the second half of Sunday's 21-2 season-opening victory at St. Thomas Aquinas. 

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Payson Hedges, Adelphi
Freshman | Attack | East Northport, N.Y.

In her first collegiate outing, Hedges led all players with seven points - courtesy of three goals and four assists. She posted a perfect shot-on-goal percentage, scoring on all three shots she took in a victory over Roberts Wesleyan.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll  

Jillian McFadden, Adelphi (So., GK - Mount Sinai, N.Y.)
McFadden picked up her first career victory in the pipes, stopping six shots from RV Roberts Wesleyan. The Panthers went on to win 18-7 while the defense held the Redhawks to single digit shots in each quarter of action. 

Angelina Graziano, Southern N.H. (Gr., F - Riverhead, N.Y.)
Graziano notched seven points on five goals and two assists in SNHU's 21-2 season-opening victory at St. Thomas Aquinas on Sunday. She scored twice during a 12-goal opening quarter and then three of the final five Penmen goals to put it out of reach.
