NE10 Player of the Week
Marielle Colalillo, Adelphi
Sophomore | Attack | Manhasset, N.Y.
Colalillo led the Panthers in scoring and overall after a 10-point performance against #2 Florida Southern. Her five goals ties the most by an individual against the Mocs this season and she added five assists to boot, while posting an 85.7 shot on goal percentage. Additionally she collected two ground balls and had one caused turnover in the statement victory.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Daria Bock, Saint Rose
Senior | Midfield | New Fairfield, Conn.
Bock secured five draw controls, forced three turnovers, and scooped two ground balls, while also providing five goals and an assist in the Golden Knights' 24-1 victory against Felician on Wednesday.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Jillian McFadden, Adelphi
Sophomore | Goalkeeper | Mount Sinai, N.Y.
McFadden anchored an Adelphi defense that held the No. 2 team in Division II to its lowest scoring output of the season. She earned her second win between the pipes, collecting eight saves in a 19-10 win over Florida Southern.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Maddie Schubert, Pace
Sophomore (Rookie Eligible) | Midfield | Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.
Pace's Schubert shined for the reigning national champions in the team's 17-7 season opening victory over Roberts Wesleyan. Schubert netted four goals on five shots, all five were on target. Two of the four goals came off free positions.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Kelly-Ann McGrath, Adelphi (Sr., M - Franklin Square, N.Y.)
McGrath was a monster on the draw circle, collecting 11 draw control victories (of Adelphi's 20) in a 19-10 win over #2 Florida Southern. In addition to one assist, she added four goals and scooped up three ground balls.
Julianna Febbraio, Pace (Sr., M - Carmel, N.Y.)
Febbraio continued to excel for the potent Setter defense in the season-opening 17-7. The senior scooped up three ground balls, secured two draw controls while forcing a game-high four turnovers. The four forced turnovers tied her career-high.
Angelina Porcello, Pace (Sr., M - Eastchester, N.Y.)
Porcello, the reigning IWLCA Player of the Year, picked up right where she left off last year. In Pace's season-opening win over Roberts Wesleyan, Porcello netted a pair of goals while assisting on five of her teammates goals. She secured a team-high seven draw controls to go along with her seven points on the offensive end.
Elizabeth Driscoll, Saint Anselm (Jr., GK - Marblehead, Mass.)
Driscoll registered seven saves en route to earning her first win of the season in net for Saint Anselm on Saturday. She allowed eight goals and posted a 46.7 save percentage against Roberts Wesleyan to earn her 14th career win as Hawk.
Jess Sullivan, Saint Anselm (Sr., A - Wrentham, Mass.)
Sullivan scored four goals to lead Saint Anselm to a 10-8 season-opening win over Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday. She scored a hat trick in the first half marking her 18th career game with three or more goals for the Hawks.
Katy McPeak, Saint Rose (Jr., A - Syracuse, N.Y.)
McPeak set the Saint Rose single-game record with eight goals in Wednesday's season-opening win versus Felician. McPeak was all-over the field that afternoon, as she also grabbed four draw controls and secured two ground balls.
