NE10 Player of the Week

Lindsay Hogan, New Haven
Sophomore | Guard | Bayville, N.Y.

Hogan opened up her second season at New Haven scoring a career-high 30 points in the Chargers season-opening win over Wilmington. She followed that up with a 22 point effort against Goldey-Beacom to wrap up the weekend averaging 26 ppg at the Lightning's Tip-Off Tournament. All totaled for the week, Hogan shot 72 percent from the field, connecting on 18-of-25 field goal attempts, including a 10-of-11 effort against Wilmington. Additionally, she was 9-of-11 from beyond the three point arc, including a perfect 5-of-5 in the season opener. Hogan also added seven rebounds, two assists and four steals total for the weekend.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Ruzgar Christina Boyle, American Int'l
Freshman | Guard | Istanbul, Turkey

Boyle had a tremendous debut with back-to-back double digit scoring games to help AIC win over St. Thomas Aquinas and D'Youville, averaging 12.5 points per game in the win. She added three rebounds and 2.5 steals per game and committed just one turnover in 57 minutes of play.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll 

Isabella Asencio, Adelphi (Fr, G - Midland Park, N.J.)
In her first two collegiate games, Isabella Asencio came off the bench to average 12.0 points per game on 42.9 percent shooting. She led all Panthers with 16 points in her career debut against Caldwell on Friday. Asencio committed just three turnovers over the course of 54 minutes played at the Conference Challenge.

Briana Lee, American Int'l (Sr, G/F - Jersey City, N.J.)
Lee was a force in AIC's wins over St. Thomas Aquinas and D'Youville, shooting 51.9% and averaging 18 points and eight rebounds in the victories, including a 25-10 double-double against the D'Youville.

Marina Callahan, Assumption (Jr, F - Burlington, Mass.)
Callahan's near triple-double in the season opener gave No. 6/7 Assumption an 80-59 win over Post on Sunday. She scored 26 points (10-for-15 from the field) and paced the Greyhounds with career-highs with 13 rebounds and seven assists. Callahan is either tied or leads the Northeast-10 Conference in points, rebounds, and rebounds.

Ella Thompson, Bentley (Gr., G - Greenwood, Ind.)
Thompson dropped 30 points in the season's opening week, including 19 against Daemen.  She went 4-11 from beyond the arc.

Niya Morgen, Bentley (Fr., G - Swampscott, Mass.)
In a 92-57 win over Roberts Wesleyan, Morgen provided 18 points, five assists and four rebounds in 21:50 off the bench. She made seven of eight field goal attempts and connected three times from beyond the arc. Overall, in her first two collegiate games, Morgan averaged 11.0 points, 3.5 assists and two rebounds while shooting .750 overall and .500 (3/6) from deep.

Arianna Stockinger, Pace (Jr, F - Courtlandt Manor, N.Y.)
Stockinger helped the Setters start the season 2-0 with two strong performances. Against Bloomfield, she provided 14 points, three boards, three assists and two steals. In a come-from-behind win against Caldwell, she scored 17 points, including what would become the game winning layup with less than 30 seconds left, nine boards and two steals.

Tatum Forbes, Saint Anselm (So, G - Pawtucket, R.I.)
Forbes had an impressive start for the Hawks after opening the new season at the Southern Connecticut State Tournament over the weekend. She drained a total of 32 points, shooting 45.8 percent from the field, and went 42.9 percent from behind the arc (3-7). She currently leads the team in rebounds (9), assists (8), and steals (4) following her weekend performance and posted a career-high 21 points against Georgian Court to help Saint Anselm secure its first win of the year.

Delaney Haines, Southern Conn. St. (Jr, G - Portland, Maine)
Haines scored a team-best of 19 points, four steals and three rebounds against Mercy. In addition, she was 5-of-10 from the three point line. The guard scored eight of the Owls' 11 points in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 points in the second half alone.

Katie Williamson, Southern Conn. St. (Sr, F - Dublin, Ireland)
Williamson had her first double-double of the season against Georgian Court, with a team-best 14 points and 12 rebounds. In addition, the forward had three assists and two steals. Against Mercy, she had six points, six rebounds and Shooting per game four assists for the Owls in a 1-1 week.
