The first half can be summarized by one word, defense. Pace held the Panthers to single-digits in both quarters, with four points in the opening quarter and nine in the second. The Pace offense was only able to generate 21 points, but it was enough to enter the locker room with the lead, 21-13. 

Both team's were able to find their offensive groves in the second half. A 7-0 Panther run that featured five three throws brought Adelphi within four with 2:44 left in the third quarter. The Setters killed the momentum almost immediately, by scoring ten of the final 15 points of the quarter to take a 38-29 lead into the final ten minutes.

The Panthers made one more push in the final quarter, getting the lead down to three with 6:26 left but after taking a pass from Victoria DieguezArianna Stockinger connected on a triple right in front of her bench to go back up six, 43-37. Pace hit their free throws down the stretch to ice the game and advance.

Stockinger finished with 14 points, six rebounds and two assists. Shanice Sinclair posted a double-double, adding 12 points and a team-high ten rebounds. Tower Lorde turned in 12 points, including 8-9 from the free throw line.

The game's top scorer belonged to the Panthers, getting 22 points from Rolanda Robinson while Jenna Jordan contributed a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds.

No. 6 Southern Connecticut State 60, No. 11 New Haven 44

Julianna Bonilla led the team with 13 points, as she shot a team-best 5-for-8 from the field and 3-for-5 from the three-point line. In addition, Bonilla had five rebounds, three assists, two steals against the Chargers.
 
Katie Williamson and Rheyna Steinauer had 11 points each for the Owls. Williamson had a team-best of seven rebounds, a team-best of two blocks, a team-best of three steals and two assists. Steinauer was 3-for-5 from the free-throw line, grabbed four rebounds and a steal against New Haven.
 
Delaney Haines recorded nine points for the Owls, had two steals and was 3-for-3 from beyond the arc. Makenzie Helms had eight points, a team-best of five assists, two rebounds and had a block. Renza Milner had four points, was 2-for-2 from the free-throw line and grabbed three rebounds.
 
In the first quarter, Southern Connecticut jumped to a quick start as they had 12 points to New Haven's six points. In the second quarter, the Owls continued to have their strong momentum, as they held the Chargers to only six points once again. Southern outscored New Haven, 30-12 in the first half alone.
 
In the third quarter, the Chargers came out of the locker room, ready to make their comeback. New Haven outscored the Owls, 19-13 up until the last second of the quarter, when Julianna Bonilla made a half-court three-pointer at the buzzer. The Owls held on to their 14-point lead heading into the fourth quarter.
 
In the fourth quarter, Southern got their scoring started with a made layup by Makenzie Helms. The Chargers inched closer to the Owls' lead, but Southern Connecticut continued to make their shots, that extended their double-digit lead. The Owls finished with a 60-44 victory, that would send them back to the NE10 Quarterfinals for the third-straight season.

No. 7 Pace 55, No. 10 Adelphi 46

In the first quarter, St. Michael's got support from freshman Amber Furch and sophomore forward Julie Lyden, who both tallied five points. Franklin Pierce senior forward Gisela Vazquez Segura (Igualada, Spain) was 2 for 4 from the field with four points. The Ravens had six offensive rebounds in the quarter as they found ways to keep plays alive. The Purple Knights held on to a 16-12 lead at the end of quarter one. 

Franklin Pierce responded in the second quarter. Senior guard Janessa Gonzalez (Meriden, CT) had 12 points off the bench and was 4 for 5 from the field. The Ravens shot 57% from the field in the second quarter and had a 36-32 lead over the Purple Knights at halftime.

In the third quarter, St. Michael's crawled their way back, outscoring Franklin Pierce 16-12. Senior guard Paige Slaven had nine points and was 2 for 2 from behind the arc. The Ravens led 50-48 heading into the final quarter. 

Franklin Pierce senior guard Anna Badosa Soler (Girona, Spain) had six points in the fourth quarter and was 2 for 3 from the field. The game came down to the wire, and St. Michael's had a chance to win the game or tie and force overtime. Slaven's three-pointer was off the mark, and senior guard Jaxson Nadeau's missed the follow. The Ravens secured the 65-63 win in front of their home crowd, and they are playing Southern New Hampshire in the second round of the NE-10 Playoffs on Tuesday. 

For the Ravens, Gonzalez played 17 minutes off the bench and finished the night with 12 points. She was 4 for 7 from the field. Three Raven starters finished the night in double figures. Soler had 14 points, shot 3 for 8 from the field, and was 8 for 9 from the free-throw line. Senior forward Colette Mulderig(Scranton, PA) had 12 points and seven rebounds. She was 5 for 13 from the field. Sophomore guard Leana Heitmann (Syracuse, NY) played 38 minutes and had 10 points. She was 4 for 14 from the field.

For the Purple Knights, Slaven finished the night with 19 points. She shot 7 for 13 from the field, including 4 for 5 from behind the arc.

No. 8 American Int'l 64, No. 9 Saint Anselm 56
Box Score

Led by 25 points and another double-double from Briana Lee, DII's leader in career double-doubles, American International advanced to the NE10 quarterfinals Friday night, 64-56 over Saint Anselm.

Lee scored 25 on 9-15 shooting and play 38 of the game's 40 minutes, helping will AIC to the finish line.  The Yellow Jackets barnstormed out of the halftime break, using a 19-8 third quarter to seperate from what was a one point halftime lead.

Ray Porter continued her strong defensive presence, keying AIC's eight blocks and helping hold Saint Anselm below 40% from the field, just 2-16 from three.

The Hawks were led by 18 points from Tatum Forbes.
