NE10 Offensive Player of the Week
Drew Willoughby, Saint Anselm

Receiving the prestigious Gold Helmet Award on Sunday, Willoughby was 30-for-42 through the air for 349 yards against Millersville in his team's 28-10 victory on Thursday, hooking up with three different receivers for touchdowns. He also became just the seventh quarterback in Saint Anselm history to reach 3,000 career passing yards, entering the day just 197 yards away from that milestone. With the help of Willoughby, the Hawks won their season opener for the first time since 2014 and defeated a member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference for the first time since 2012. He is the first from Saint Anselm to receive a Gold Helmet Award since Eric Fairweather on Nov. 17, 2019.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Lorenzo Valencia, Assumption
Senior | Linebacker | Ruskin, Fla.
Valencia recorded eight tackles and a pair of sacks while racking up 22 yards in tackles for a loss to lead the Assumption defense in its shutout of No. 13 Kutztown.

Alex Benitez, Franklin Pierce
Freshman | Punter | Belle Meade, N.J.
Benitez punted eight times in his collegiate debut on Saturday against Edinboro, racking-up 323 yards (40.4 yards/punt), including a long of 46. He also forced a pair of fair catches.

Gabriel Bertolazzo, Assumption (So., P - Winter Garden, Fla.)
Tallied six punts for 259 yards, a 43.2 average, 53 as a long, two punts of over 50 yards and three pins inside the 20 - two of them within the five - in Assumption's 3-0 upset win over No. 13 Kutztown.
Cedie Dashiell II, Bentley (Sr., DE - Buena Park, Calif.)
In the Falcons' season-opener, the 2021 Northeast-10 Defensive Lineman of the Year had five tackles, including two sacks resulting in losses of 23 yards. He was also credited with a forced fumble against West Chester. Dashiell now has 22 sacks and eight forced fumbles for his career.
Tyvarius Daniels, Franklin Pierce (Jr., WR - Springfield, Mass.)
Daniels had eight tackles (five solo), one interception and one pass breakup in Franklin Pierce's season-opening 10-7 loss to Edinboro on Saturday.
Dev Holmes, New Haven (Gr., WR - Troy, N.Y.)
Holmes made three catches for 93 yards (31.0 average) with a pair of touchdown receptions against No. 8 Bowie State, as the No. 16 Chargers lost a tight 27-20 contest on the road.
Teddy Harper, Pace (Jr., WR - East Orange, N.J.)
Harper erupted during his Pace debut as he helped the Setters to a season-opening win over East Stroudsburg. The New Jersey native finished the game with four catches for 145 touchdowns and a pair of touchdowns. Harper's most explosive moment came when he caught a 10-yard slant pattern before racing 86 yards for a touchdown early in the third quarter.
Pawelkoski tied for the team lead and matched a career-high this past week with 11 total tackles, adding a six-yard sack and finishing with a team-best two tackles for a combined loss of eight yards. Saint Anselm has now won seven of the last 10 games played at home. Thursday's result was also the second victory by the Hawks over a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference football program and the first since the 2012 campaign.
