South Easton, Mass. – This week’s National Soccer Coaches’ Association of America (NSCAA) men’s and women’s rankings featured three Northeast-10 Conference institutions, including the Franklin Pierce University men’s team at No. 3 in the national poll.

The Ravens (8-0, 4-0 NE-10) moved up one spot from the previous week's rankings, and also extended their winning streak to eight straight games on Tuesday night with a 4-0 home victory over The College of Saint Rose. Franklin Pierce has now outscored opponents 17-5 on the season, and is set to travel to Saint Anselm College for a 2:00 p.m. conference matchup Saturday afternoon.

Franklin Pierce is also ranked atop the NSCAA East Region rankings. Southern New Hampshire University (6-2, 4-2 NE-10) is positioned sixth in the East, while Merrimack College (5-2-2, 3-2-0 NE-10) is ranked eighth, and Bentley University (5-2-1, 4-1 NE-10) sits in a tie for the 10th spot.

In the women’s national rankings, Saint Rose (9-0-1, 6-0-1 NE-10) is listed at No. 9 a year after advancing to the national semifinals. The Golden Knights’ lone blemish on an otherwise perfect season thus far came September 9 in a 1-1 tie with the University of Massachusetts Lowell, but they have since reeled off six straight victories, including five consecutive shutouts, and have outscored opponents 25-2 this season.

Saint Rose also boasts the top three goal scorers in the NE-10 in freshman Brittany Barry (12) and sophomores Carmelina Puopola (9) and Sydney Bond (6).

Merrimack (9-0, 7-0 NE-10) is ranked No. 18 in the country, and currently sits atop the conference standings. The unbeaten Warriors will travel to Saint Rose for a crucial conference matchup on October 15. Six of their nine victories have come away from home this season.

In the East Region, six NE-10 women’s teams make up the top-10, including Saint Rose at No. 2 and Merrimack at No 3. In addition, Stonehill College (7-2-1, 5-1-1 NE-10) is ranked fourth and Southern Connecticut State University (7-1-1, 5-1-1 NE-10) fifth while Franklin Pierce University (4-4, 2-4 NE-10) and Southern New Hampshire University (5-4, 3-3 NE-10) are listed ninth and tenth, respectively.
