NE10 Player of the Week

Sanne Selmer Gilje, Adelphi
Sophomore | Stabekk, Norway

Selmer Gilje has helped move the Panthers within striking distance of its first NE10 regular-season championship since 2019. In three matches in five days, she was a perfect 3-0 in No. 1 singles competition -- winning all three showdowns in straight sets -- in addition to prevailing in all three of her matches at No. 2 doubles.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Roisin Boyd, Adelphi
Freshman | Leicester, United Kingdom

A two-time NE10 Rookie of the Week, Boyd -- in the team's tightest decision of the week -- won the clinching No. 3 singles match in straight sets in a 5-2 win over Assumption. Between the pair of 7-0 victories over AIC and Bentley, Boyd lost a combined three games in singles. She also went a perfect 3-0 at No. 1 doubles alongside Katarina Liedbeck.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Karim Carreras, New Haven (Jr. - Asuncion, Paraguay)
Carreras was 4-0 on the week in wins over Bentley and Saint Anselm. Both of Carreras' doubles wins came at No. 1 doubles partnered with Valentinna Ferrarini, while she saw both singles wins come at No. 2 singles, including a 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Saint Asnelm's Camila Heredia-Osante.

Irene Garbo, Saint Anselm (So. - Assemini, Sardinia, Italy )
Garbo picked up two more wins over the week in doubles action for Saint Anselm, improving to a 7-1 record this season. She also had a dominant victory against Saint Michael's on Wednesday in singles action picking up her seventh win and helping the Hawks secure their third conference victory.

Alina Kupfer, Southern New Hampshire (So. - Baldham, Germany)
Kupfer went 4-0, including 2-0 at No. 1 singles, during a 2-0 week for the Penmen. Kupfer breezed to a 6-1, 6-1 victory against Marie Knispel in Wednesday's 6-1 win against Assumption and then cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 victory versus Natalija Vlacic in another 6-1 triumph at American Int'l on Saturday. She also teamed with Verena Weindl for a pair of No. 1 doubles win, downing Knispel and Jette Weigelt, 6-2, as well as Vlacic and Victoria Azcona, 6-2.
