NE10 Player of the Week

George Thurston, Southern New Hampshire
Junior | Forward | Plymouth, Mass.

Thurston had a terrific weekend in SNHU's sweep of Franklin Pierce and Framingham State. After scoring a pair of goals and dishing out an assist in the 8-1 win over the Ravens, Thurston tallied a hat trick on Saturday in SNHU's home opening 4-2 win over the Rams. Thurston leads the NE10 with six goals through three games.

NE10 Goaltender of the Week

Nick Howard, Saint Anselm
Junior | Goaltender | Burlington, Mass.

Howard improved to 3-0 on the season with a pair of wins against Castleton and Worcester State. Howard stopped 31 of 33 shots on goal on Friday against the Spartans and then recorded his second career shutout over the Lancers. Howard finished the weekend with a 1.00 goals against average and 0.965 save percentage.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Gavin FitzPatrick, Stonehill
Freshman | Goaltender | Bridgewater, Mass.

FitzPatrick made his first career start and helped the Skyhawks to a 5-3 win over Franklin Pierce to complete a 2-0 week. He made 25 saves throughout Stonehill's win on Saturday.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Devan Sheth, Assumption (Sr., F - Ashland, Mass.)
Sheth led the Greyhounds this past weekend with four points in two games, grabbing a goal and an assist vs Stonehill and two goals vs Post while registering 11 shots. 

Brandon Brown, Post (Sr. G - Hanahan, S.C.)
Brown made 59 combined saves in a 1-1 week for Post. He made 31 saves in a 2-1 loss to Westfield St. and tallied 28 saves in a 5-4 victory over Assumption.

Evan Lugo, Post (Sr., F - Sandy Hook, Conn.)
Lugo scored twice in a 5-4 win over reigning NE10 regular season champion Assumption.

Andrew Andary, Saint Anselm (Jr, F - Macomb, Mich.)
Andary recorded three goals and an assist in two non-conference games against Castleton and Worcester State. The junior alternate captain scored twice and had an assist against Worcester State, finishing the game with a plus-3 rating. 

Adam Mercer, Southern N.H. (Sr., G - Belchertown, Mass.)
Mercer, a transfer from Norwich University, made his first two starts for the Penmen winning ones. Mercer earned the win in Friday's conference opener with Franklin Pierce, stopping 24 of 25 shots. He followed that up with a solid 17-save effort in Saturday's 4-2 win over Framingham State.

Mike Seoane, Stonehill (Sr, F - Norwell, Mass.)
Totaled five points with two goals and three assists as the Skyhawks opened NE10 play with a pair of wins over the weekend. Registered three points with two goals, including the gamewinner with just 14-seconds to play, and an assist. Also dished out two assists in Saturday's 5-3 win over Franklin Pierce in Stonehill's home opener.
