NE10 Player of the Week

Kevin Ouellette, Saint Anselm
Senior | Forward | Arlington, Mass.

Ouellette netted his first goal of the season in Friday's tie with Stonehill, which opened the scoring. The senior found the back of the net again on Saturday, giving the Hawks a 2-0 edge early in the second period. Ouellette finished the weekend series against Stonehill with two goals and a plus-3 rating on six shots.

NE10 Goaltender of the Week

John Day, Stonehill
Junior | Goaltender | North Reading, Mass.

Day averaged 35.5 saves per game, with a .922 save percentage and 2.89 goals against average over the Skyhawks two games at Saint Anselm over the weekend. He opened with a career-high 44 saves, posting a .936 save percentage, in Friday night's 3-3 overtime deadlock with the Hawks. He followed that up with 27 saves in Saturday's matchup with the Hawks.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Matt Amante, Southern New Hampshire
Sophomore (Freshman Eligibility) | Forward | West Hempstead, N.Y.

Amante scored his first two career goals in SNHU's 3-1 win over Post on Saturday, completing a weekend NE10 sweep for the Penmen. Amante has also added three assists so far for five points in his first five games. 

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Jason Ladzinski, Franklin Pierce (Jr., F - Norcross, Ga.)
Ladzinski had a goal and an assist in an 0-2-0 week for the Ravens. Had an assist in Tuesday night's loss to Rivier, and a goal in Thursday night's loss to Worcester State. Attempted seven shots and went +1 along the way.

Nick Howard, Saint Anselm (Jr, G - Burlington, Mass.)
Howard stopped 49 of 54 shots on goal in a 1-0-1 week for the Hawks. The junior netminder finished Saturday's win with a .933-save percentage, making 28 saves including 13 saves in the third period. Howard finished the weekend series with the Skyhawks with a .907 save percentage and a 2.40 goals against average. 

Adam Mercer, Southern N.H. (Sr., G - Belchertown, Mass.)
Mercer stopped 45 of 46 shots in SNHU's 3-1 win over Post on Saturday at The Ice Den. He improved his season mark to 3-0. The senior transfer from Norwich University also played the third period of Friday's 3-1 win over the Eagles, stopping 9 of 10 shots. Mercer has the top save percentage in the NE10 at .951.

George Thurston, Southern N.H. (Jr., F - Plymouth, Mass.)
The NE10's leading goal-scorer George Thurston potted his seventh of the season, and fifth on the power-play, in Friday's 3-1 win over Post. Thurston also added an assist in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Eagles. His 10 points on the season have him atop the NE10 leaders list with teammate Jake Cox.

Mike Seoane, Stonehill (Sr, F - Norwell, Mass.)
Seoane totaled two points with a goal and assist over the Skyhawks two game NE10 series at Saint Anselm over the weekend. His power play goal in the third period gave Stonehill the lead in the eventual overtime draw. He also dished out an assist on a third period power play goal on Saturday afternoon.
