Berling went 2-0 last week, as the Penmen breezed past Colgate, 6-1, Saturday. Berling defeated Jack Selati, 6-2, 7-6 (10-8) at No. 1 singles and also combined with Fernando Torres for a 6-2 triumph at No. 1 doubles against Selati and Benit Vlassis.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Phillipp Roeder, Southern New Hampshire
Freshman | Augsburg, Germany
Roeder was 1-1 in SNHU's 6-1 defeat of Colgate on Tuesday. Roeder downed Tejas Gupta, 7-5, 6-0, at No. 6 singles, following a narrow 7-5 loss at No 3 doubles.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Manuel Righi, Le Moyne (Gr., - Bologna, Italy)
Righi was a 6-1, 6-2 winner at third singles on Friday against Hobart and then recorded a 6-1, 4-6, 10-6 victory at the fourth spot on Sunday against Buffalo. He teamed for a 6-3 win at second doubles against Hobart and was edged 6-4 by Buffalo.
