NE10 Player of the Week

Peter Hatton, Le Moyne
Sophomore | Syracuse, N.Y.

Hatton went 4-0 in a 1-1 week for Le Moyne, with each of his victories coming at No. 1 singles and doubles. Both of Le Moyne's opponents - Queens (NY) and Adelphi - earned a spot in the first NCAA East Region rankings last week. In a 4-2 loss to Queens, Hatton was a bright spot for the Dolphins - winning at the top flight of singles (6-1, 4-6, 6-0) and doubles (7-5). In a 6-1 victory over Adelphi, which was previously unbeaten in NE10 play, Hatton beat Marko Jovanovic in straight sets (6-3, 7-5) and teamed with Manuel Righi for a win at No. 1 doubles (6-2).

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Nikolai Pran, Bentley
Freshman | Oslo, Norway

Pran won both of his matches in Bentley's 4-3 victory over Franklin Pierce on April 4. He won in No. 4 singles 7-5, 6-4 and in No. 2 doubles combined with Gabe Horwitz for a 6-0 victory.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Gabriel Balestero, Adelphi (Gr., No. 3 Singles - Sao Paulo, Brazil)
Although his results weren't as favorable in doubles, Gabriel Balestero is making a strong bid for a NE10 First Team All-Conference singles honor, after concluding the conference season this past week with two more wins at No. 3 singles. He defeated Le Moyne's Ethan Miller (6-4, 6-2) and Assumption's Jakob Bordt (6-0, 6-3) in straight sets.

Josh Weiss, Saint Michael's (Sr., #2 D / #1 S - Pittsford, N.Y.)
Weiss won both of his matches during a key 5-2 victory against Assumption on Thursday. After siding for a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles, Weiss claimed a 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 triumph at No. 1 singles, both clinching the match win for his team and earning his 50th career victory in the process.

Jesse Den Hartog, So. New Hampshire (Jr. - Amsterdam, The Netherlands)
Den Hartog went 6-0, including 3-0 splitting time between the top two singles flights, during a 3-0 week for the Penmen. Den Hartog rallied for a 4-6, 7-6 (7-1), 11-9 No. 1 singles victory against Yannick Heitzberg in Tuesday's 5-2 win over Assumption, before recording an easier 6-3, 6-3 victory at the top flight Thursday against Joe Herin in another 5-2 triumph over Franklin Pierce. Den Hartog moved to No. 2 for Saturday's 5-2 win at Post, where he defeated Josh Cronje, 6-3, 6-0. In doubles play, Den Hartog teamed with Cade Nadeau for a 6-1 win at the top flight against Assumption's Jakob Border and Heitzberg and then doubled up Franklin Pierce's Alejandro Ortiz and Paul McLellan, 6-3, at No. 2, before capping the week with another 6-1 victory at No. 2 over Post's Cooper Smith and Langenfeld.
