NE10 Player of the Week

Erika Fuentes, Saint Rose
Sophomore | Goshen, N.Y.

Fuentes captured her fourth tournament title of the 2021-22 campaign to lead The College of Saint Rose at the Yellow Jacket Invitational that concluded Tuesday at the par-72, 5807-yard Ledges Golf Club. Fuentes beat her nearest competitor by three strokes with a two-round score of 157 (+13) to continue her outstanding 2021-22 campaign.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Phisonlaya Ruayruen, Franklin Pierce
Freshman | Chiangmai, Thailand

Ruayruen finished second overall at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, hosted by AIC, with a two-round score of 160 (+16). She shot an 81 in the first round and 79 in the second round, leading Franklin Pierce to a first-place finish as a team.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Ilaria Ponziani, Adelphi (So. - Genova, Italy)
Ponziani finished fourth overall at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, hosted by AIC, with a two-round score of 163 (+19). She shot an 80 in the first round and 83 in the second round to help lead Adelphi to a second-place finish.

Mia Avotins, Le Moyne (Fr. - Liverpool, N.Y.)
Avotins tied for third place at a pair of invitationals last week. She carded an 81 to finish in a tie for third and two shots out of first at the Mercyhurst Invitational on Thursday as the Dolphins finished in second place. She turned in a 77 in the first round of the rain-shortened Gannon Invitational on Friday.

Emma Beaulieu, Stonehill (Sr. - Longmeadow, Mass.)
Posted a top-ten finish to lead the Skyhawks to a third-place team finish at the Yellow Jackets Invitational in South Hadley, Massachusetts, on Monday and Tuesday. Carded rounds of 83 and 86 for a two-day score of 169 to finish tied for ninth in the field of 40 competitors.
