NE10 Player of the Week

Trevor Lawler, Franklin Pierce
Junior | Forward | East Bridgewater, Mass.

Went for four points, on one goal and three assists, as the Ravens split a pair on the road at defending NE10 champion Assumption. Scored a goal and added a pair of assists in Friday night's 4-1 win. Chipped in an assist in Saturday night's 7-4 loss. Recorded nine shots and was even in plus/minus for the weekend.

Cole Manahan, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Goaltender | Hermantown, Minn.

Freshman Cole Manahan made 57 saves during 57:59 of action in a 2-1 loss to Southern New Hampshire on Saturday, allowing only one even-strength goal. His save total tied the program's rookie record, and were the most ever by a Purple Knight in an NE10 contest.

Freshman Cole Manahan made 57 saves during 57:59 of action in a 2-1 loss to Southern New Hampshire on Saturday, allowing only one even-strength goal. His save total tied the program's rookie record, and were the most ever by a Purple Knight in an NE10 contest.

Thomas McLarnon, Assumption (Fr., G - Fountainville, Pa.)
Allowed two goals but recorded 32 saves against Franklin Pierce on Friday night.

Sean O'Connell, Assumption (Fr., F - Stoneham, Mass.)
O'Connell posted two goals and one assist in two games this week. He has registered at least one point in three of four games this season. O'Connell scored the game-winning goal against the Ravens, as the Greyhounds scored seven goals in the last two periods on Saturday.

Will Christensen, Saint Anselm (Jr., F - Ridgefield, Conn.)
Christensen netted one goal and added an assist in the Saint Anselm 3-1 win over Post on Saturday. The junior assisted on the first Hawks goal in the tilt and later netted his second goal of the season to give the Hawks their two-goal edge. Christensen also skated to a plus-one on-ice rating between the pair of game at Post.

Nick Howard, Saint Anselm (Sr., G - Burlington, Mass.)
The senior net minder turned aside 63 shots in a 1-1-0 weekend for the Hawks, who split a pair of contests with Post. Howard made 28 stops in a 4-3 loss on Friday before rebounding with a 35-save effort in Saturday's 3-1 win. He finished the weekend with a 2.51 goals-against average and a 0.926 save percentage. In the early going of the 2022-23 season, Howard ranks second in the conference in both total saves (120) and goals-against average (2.74).

Gabriel Gagnon, Saint Michael's (Jr., D - Mascouche, Quebec)
Junior defenseman Gabriel Gagnon scored a game-winning goal, finished plus-2, and blocked seven shots during a 1-1 weekend with Southern New Hampshire while anchoring a defense that allowed only one even-strength goal. In a 7-2 win on Friday, Gagnon netted the winner at 10:27 of the second period, was plus-3 and blocked two shots. During a 2-1 loss on Saturday, he blocked five more shots.

Marshall Murphy, Saint Michael's (Jr., G - Little Canada, Minn.)
Junior Marshall Murphy made 35 saves and lent an assist on a go-ahead goal during a 7-2 victory against Southern New Hampshire on Friday. Murphy, who yielded only a pair of power-play goals, handed out the secondary assist on a power-play marker that gave Saint Michael's the lead for good at 9:20 of the second period.

Derek Flynn, Southern N.H. (Jr., D - Dracut, Mass.)
Derek Flynn's first career goal proved to be the game-winner as SNHU earned a split of the weekend NE10 set at Saint Michael's with a 2-1 win on Saturday. Flynn was set-up by teammate Ryan Coady at 6:33 of the third period.
