NE10 Player of the Week

Cody Rumsey, Franklin Pierce
Junior | Forward | York, Pa.

The Ravens broke even through three matchups this past week (1-1-1), rallying behind a team-leading effort by Rumsey, who scored one goal and added four assists for five points (1-4-5) across that span. Rumsey has now recorded a point in three consecutive games, and additionally contributed 10 total shots, as well as a +2 rating.

NE10 Goaltender of the Week

Marshall Murphy, Saint Michael's
Junior | Goaltender | Little Canada, Minn.

Murphy posted a .965 save percentage, a 1.50 GAA and 41.0 saves per game while winning both ends of a weekend sweep against first-place Assumption. Murphy turned in 41 stops for his first college shutout on Friday, a 4-0 win, before making another 41 saves in a 4-3 victory on Saturday. He made 20 saves alone in the second period, when the Greyhounds were limited only to a power-play strike.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Ashton Allain, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Defense | Brentwood, Tenn.

Allain blocked three shots in each end of a weekend sweep of first-place Assumption while anchoring a defensive unit that yielded just three goals. The Purple Knights earned a 4-0 win on Friday before claiming a 4-3 victory on Saturday.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Shane Sullivan, Assumption (Sr., F - Holden, Mass.)
In three games this week, Sullivan recorded two goals and two assists. The senior forward recorded an assist against Anna Maria on Tuesday before racking up two goals and one assists for a three-point Saturday game at Saint Michael's.

Niko Grollman, Post (Fr., F - Laguna Nigel, Calif.)
Grollman scored the game-tying goal with just over a minute left in a tie with Franklin Pierce as part of a 0-1-1 week for the Eagles. He had three points in two games against the Ravens (two goals, one assist), along with a +1 rating.

Nick Howard, Saint Anselm (Sr., G - Burlington, Mass.)
Howard turned aside a career-high 48 shots on goal in the Hawks 3-3 tie at Anna Maria College on Friday. The senior made double-digit saves in all three regulation periods. Howard closes the week with a 2.77 goals-against average and a 0.941 save percentage.

Luke Mix, Saint Anselm (So., D - Winchester, Mass.)
Mix netted a pair of goals, including the game-winning overtime tally, in the Hawks 3-2 win over Rivier on Saturday. The sophomore got Saint Anselm on the board with a power play goal early in the third period before capping the game with the winner. Mix fired six shots on goal between the pair of non-conference games for the Hawks.

Zach Taylor, Saint Michael's (Jr., F - Hanover, Mass.)
Taylor scored twice, including netting Saturday's shorthanded game-winner, while blocking three shots, going +2 and winning 24 of 53 faceoffs during a weekend sweep of first-place Assumption. In a 4-0 victory on Friday, Taylor tallied at 14:33 of the third period while blocking two shots and winning five draws. His shortie at 9:31 of the third period lifted Saint Michael's to a 4-3 win on Saturday, when Taylor blocked another shot and finished 19-for-31 on draws.

George Thurston, Southern N.H. (Sr., F - Plymouth, N.H.)
Thurston recorded his second two-goal game in the last three contests in SNHU's 4-3 loss to Rivier on Friday night. Thurston opened that contest with his NE10-leading tenth power-play goal of the season. The senior has 47 career goals for the Penmen and 31 have come on the power play.
