NE10 Player of the Week

Jeremy Routh, Saint Michael's
Senior | Forward | Hamden, Conn.

Routh played a hand in eight of the Purple Knights' 11 goals during a weekend sweep of Southern New Hampshire, netting three goals, handing out five assists and finishing +4. In a 6-1 win on Friday, he turned in a hat trick and two assists while going +2, netting the first-period game-winner at 17:58, converting a penalty shot only 1:27 later, and completing his three-goal game on a third-period power-play goal. Routh assisted three of the Purple Knights' first four goals, including the second-period winner, in a 5-1 victory on Saturday, when he again was +2.

NE10 Goaltender of the Week

Marshall Murphy, Saint Michael's
Junior | Goaltender | Little Canada, Minn.

Murphy yielded two goals with a .976 save percentage and 40.0 stops per game in a weekend sweep of Southern New Hampshire, which tallied only one even-strength goal in the series. Murphy made 38 saves in a 6-1 win on Friday, when the Penmen scored their lone goal on a power play midway through the first period. He had another 42 saves in a 5-1 win on Saturday.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Ryan Decker, Assumption
Freshman | Forward | Southborough, Mass.

Decker had a complete weekend for the Greyhounds, as he recorded a goal and two assists in a two-game sweep over Franklin Pierce. On Friday, the center had two assists, three blocked shots, and was 11-for-20 in the faceoff circle. On Saturday, Decker recorded a goal, one shot block, and was 8-for-13 in the circle. He tallied a +3 ice rating over the weekend.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Drew Benedict, Assumption (Gr., G - Cooper City, Fla.)
Benedict picked up a pair of wins this weekend, as the Greyhounds swept Franklin Pierce. On Friday, the netminder turned aside 26 shots enroute to a 6-3 win. On Saturday, Benedict made nine stops in relief and secured the 5-4 win for Assumption.

Michael Zampanti, Assumption (Fr., F - Winthrop, Mass.)
In two games, Zampanti recorded one goal and three assists, as Assumption swept Franklin Pierce. On Friday, the captain registered an assist, while winning 9-of-10 faceoffs. On Saturday, Zampanti scored one goal and added a pair of assists, while also winning 10-of-16 faceoffs.

Chris Stevenson, Franklin Pierce (Gr., F - Arvada, Colo.)
Stevenson hit a major milestone this past weekend in a two-game series with Assumption, claiming his 100th career collegiate point in a closely battled, 5-4 loss on Saturday. Over the two game span, Stevenson notched one goals along with four assists for a total of five points, contributing four shots on goal with a -1 rating.

Jake Aloi, Post (Fr., F - East Haven, Conn.)
Aloi scored first two goals in 4-2 win over Saint Anselm.

Drew Blodgett, Post (Fr., G - Lowell, Mass.)
Blodgett went 1-1 in a weekend series against Saint Anselm. He allowed just six goals and made 82 saves (.932 save percentage), including 42 saves in a 4-2 win over the Hawks.

Will Christensen, Saint Anselm (Jr., F - Ridgefield, Conn.)
Christensen posted a goal and two assists in Saturday's 4-1 win over Post. The junior opened the scoring before assisting on Saint Anselm goals two and three. For the week, Christensen skated to a plus-two on-ice rating and attempted two shots.

Nick Howard, Saint Anselm (Sr., G - Burlington, Mass.)
Howard stopped 48 shots on goal in a weekend split with Post. The senior stopped 26 shots on goal in Friday's loss before turning aside 22 of 23 shots on target in Saturday's 4-1 win. For the weekend, Howard posted a 2.01 goals-against average and a 0.923 save percentage.
