NE10 with 55 Student-Athletes Named to CSC At-Large Academic All-District Teams

Adelphi and AIC with League-High Nine Selections.


MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference had 23 men's and 32 women's student-athletes selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large Teams, as announced this week. Six different sports and nine different NE10 institutions were represented among the 55 student-athletes. 

The 2022-23 Academic All-District At-Large Teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the playing surface and in the classroom. First Team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot, with final results announced in June.

Adelphi and American International had a league-best nine selections, while Bentley and Southern New Hampshire each had eight. Six NE10 institutions had honorees on both the men's and women's sides. Adelphi, AIC, Bentley and New Haven each had five women's honorees, wile Adelphi, AIC and SNHU tied for the most men's selections with four. 

Women's lacrosse produced the most NE10 honorees with 23, while men's lacrosse was second with 14 and field hockey was third with seven. Six of the 55 student-athletes earned major awards from the NE10 for their athletic achievements in 2022-23, including Saint Michael's Marshall Murphy (Ice Hockey Goaltender of the Year), Adelphi's Alexandra Beebe (Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Year), New Haven's Taylor Geaglone (Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Year), Pace's Aleya Corretjer (Women's Lacrosse Attacker of the Year), Pace's Kayla Conway (Women's Lacrosse Co-Midfielder of the Year) and Pace's Angelina Porcello (Women's Lacrosse Co-Midfielder of the Year). 

The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize honorees in four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
