Rodrigues Headlines Three Selections to First Team All-America.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Four Franklin Pierce men's soccer student-athletes represented the Northeast-10 Conference on the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) and United Soccer Coaches All-America Teams, and Bruadilio Rodrigues was named Ron Lenz National Player of the Year, following the 2022 season.
Braudilio Rodrigues highlighted the group of Ravens who earned All-America status, as he was named the Ron Lenz Player of the Year. As the East Region and NE10 Player of the Year, he had a total of 20 goals and 22 assists through 25 games. He sits as the Division II leader in total points (62) and assists (22) and is second in goals (20). He netted two hat tricks this season, and also set a program record with five assists in one contest. Additionally, Rodrigues was the only member of the squad to be named a First Team All-American by both the D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches.
Jonas Cervera Anchel and Aitor Aguado joined Rodrigues as D2CCA First Team All-Americans. Anchel had seven goals and 16 assists on the season and finished tied for second in Division II for assists. Aguado was a 25-game starter in the backline for the Ravens and helped lead the team to a .349 goals against average and 19 shutouts on the 25-0-1 season.
Kosta Maniatis received Second Team All-American honors from the D2CCA after a 17-0-1 record in goal with 12 shutouts, making 18 saves and allowing just six goals against - ranking second in Division II in that caterogy.
