NE10 Player of the Week

Alexa Sacripante, Adelphi
Junior | Catcher | Bay Shore, N.Y.

Alexa Sacripante posted a line of .500/.550/.883 in a 5-1 week for the Panthers. She went 9-for-18 with four doubles and a triple to go along with six RBIs and five runs scored. Sacripante finished a HR short of the cycle and drove in three RBIs in a thrilling 9-6 victory over Saint Anselm. 


NE10 Pitcher of the Week

Lindsey Hibbs, Adelphi
Junior | Pitcher | Brampton, Ontario, Canada

Hibbs posted a 3-1 record with a 0.27 ERA and 46 strikeouts. She limited opposing hitters to a .095 batting average and let up only one earned run in 25.2 innings pitched and improved her nation-leading strikeout-to-walk ratio, with just three walks to 46 K's. Hibbs added her third no-hitter of 2023 with seven innings of two-walk, 14-strikeout ball in a 6-0 shutout of SNHU.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Haley Rusbuldt, Pace
Freshman | Utility | Lakewood, Wash.

In four games, Rusbuldt went 5-for-11 with a .818 slugging percentage. The rookie notched a home run and a double to go along with five RBI and three runs scored for a .455 average and .500 OBP.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll  

Victoria Andrade, AIC (Gr., C/INF - Salem, N.H.)
Andrade had a strong week for AIC, batting .364 as she piled up eight hits and scored four times while driving in five runners, striking out just once in 22 plate appearances. She also successfully completed all 22 defensive chances across the six games.

Payton Doiron, Bentley (Jr., P - Beacon Falls, Conn.)
Doiron pitched a no-hitter against Saint Rose in an 8-0 five-inning road win. She struck nine of the 16 batters she faced and only allowed one base runner, a hit batter leading off the third.

Ashley Cangiano, Franklin Pierce (Jr., OF/C - North Attleboro, Mass.)
As Pierce softball competed in a single twin bill series with D'Youville this past week, Cangiano compiled three hits on six at-bats with a pair of RBI, with two of the hits coming as doubles. Along the way, the Raven junior also stole extra bags three times when on base, and completed the effort with a .500 batting average, a .625 on-base percentage and an .833 slugging percentage. From the field, Cangiano contributed nine putouts on ten total chances for a .900 fielding percentage.

Isabelle Boudreau, Le Moyne (Sr., OF - Memramcook, New Brunswick)
She slashed .625/.625/.625 with three runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base in a doubleheader split at D'Youville on Tuesday. She went 3-for-4 with a run scored in a 5-2 loss in the opener. She went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base in an 11-0 victory in the nightcap.

Ashley Veisz, New Haven (Jr., INF - Robbinsville, N.J.)
In six games this past week, Veisz scattered seven hits in 17 at bats for a .412 batting average with a .647 slugging percentage . She also drove in four runs. Her best outing of the week came in the NE10 opening series against American International where she finished 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a 7-6 win over the AIC Yellow Jackets.

Gisselle Garcia, Pace (So., 1B/P - Parisppany, N.J.)
In 16.1 IP on the week, Gracia appeared in three games with two starts and went 2-1 on week. She tossed two complete games with a  0.86 ERA, seven hits, two earned runs allowed to go along with 17 strikeouts.

Haile Hicks, Saint Anselm (Jr., P - Jefferson, N.H.)
Hicks totaled 22.0 innings pitched in three starts for the Hawks this week, posting a 1-2 record with a 1.91 earned-run average. Hicks fanned 26 batters, good for an 8.27 k/9 ratio. Hicks allowed just two runs, one earned, on three hits while striking out 10 in a loss to Saint Thomas Aquinas before striking out 12 in a 10.0 inning complete effort as the Hawks downed No. 16 Adelphi in game one of a doubleheader on Mar. 24.

Rachel Miller, Southern Conn. (Jr., P/OF - Waterford, Conn.)
In a 4-2 week, that featured a 3-1 run against NE10 competition, Rachel Miller batted .429 (9-21) with a .500 on-base percentage while driving in four runs and scoring four more. Miller hit safely in five of the Owls' six games, while reaching base in all six. In four conference games, she as 6-for-14 (.429) with four RBI. Against AIC in a 6-0 win, Miller was 3-for-4 with a RBI and a run scored. In the nightcap of the Owls' twinbill sweep of the Yellow Jackets, Miller was 2-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored.

Jess Perucki, Southern Conn. (Sr., P - West Milford, N.J.)
Owls senior pitcher was 3-0 with a 0.55 ERA in three starts this week. In 25.2 innings, Perucki recorded 39 strikeouts. In two NE10 games, Perucki was 2-0 with a 0.41 ERA after allowing just one run over 17 innings. After picking up a win against Post in which she held the Eagles to a run on five hits while striking out eight, she responded with back-to-back dominant performances against Assumption and AIC. In a 10-inning thriller, against Assumption, Perucki went the distance, striking out 12 while allowing a single run on three hits. For good measure, she also blasted a two-run homer to help her cause. She followed with a career-best 14 strikeouts in a complete-game shutout against AIC in which scattered six hits. She finished the week on a 13-inning scoreless streak.

Alyssa DiMauro, Southern N.H. (Jr., INF - Chester, N.H.)
Alyssa DiMauro went 7-for-12 (.583) in SNHU's four games at Pace and Adelphi to open the NE10 season. In the second game of Sunday's doubleheader at Adelphi, DiMauro went 3-for-3. She also went 4-for-4 with a double and an RBI in the 4-1 win over Pace in the second game of Friday's twinbill.
