NE10 Baseball and Softball Players Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference had 23 baseball players and 39 softball players named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District teams on Tuesday, May 16. The league had 10 different institutions represented among the list of honorees.

The 2022-23 Academic All-District teams are selected by CSC (formerly known as CoSIDA), and recognize the nation's top student-athletes across the NCAA and NAIA for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Academic All-District honors advance to the Academic All-America ballot. 

For baseball, 23 student-athletes from the NE10 were honored - including a conference-high five selections from American International and Pace. Seven other schools had at least one selection. For softball, 39 student-athletes from the NE10 were recognized, with five schools - American International, Bentley, Pace, Southern Connecticut and Southern New Hampshire - tallying five honorees each. 

Nine NE10 institutions had at least one honoree for both the men and women: Adelphi, AIC, Bentley, Le Moyne, New Haven, Pace, Saint Michael's, SCSU and SNHU.

ABOUT THE NE10
The NE10 is an association of 13 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.

Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship.
