NE10 Women's Track & Field Teams of the Week: AIC, Assumption

Assumption - AIC Teams of the Week

Each week for the remainder of the spring we will honor the seniors from two NE10 women's track & field programs as our teams of the week for each player's dedication to their program and teammates.

American International

Head Coach Leo Mayo on his senior class – "Our women's senior athletes were a vital part of improving the program to a championship level. They have been role models for the younger Yellow Jackets and have served the program well as ambassadors for American International College. They have succeeded at the goal of becoming confident, independent-thinking women upon graduation. In their years at AIC they have learned many lessons that they will be able to incorporate for many years after they graduate. They enjoyed the ups and downs of being a collegiate athlete and created amazing friendships and memories that they will never forget.  Collectively, this group provided outstanding leadership to the team from day one. They are a group that we will remember for a long, long time. Thank you for everything you did for this program and good luck in all your future endeavors."

Assumption

Head Coach Joe Sliwoski on his senior class – "In their time with the Assumption Greyhounds, each of these seniors have left their mark on our program's history. Since arriving on campus this group has shown that they have what it takes to be leaders on and off that track. They were instrumental in the progress and improvement of this team. The culture they have helped develop will be with us for years to come. We are extremely proud of them and know that they will continue to do great things."
