Sanne Selmer Gilje, Adelphi
Freshman | Stabekk, Norway
Selmer Gilje was the 2022 ITA Division II East Region Women's Singles Champion. As the No. 14-seeded player in the draw, Selmer Gilje won 6-2, 6-2 in straight sets over STAC's Amaia Balaguer Brau. She became the first ITA East Region women's singles champion in Adelphi history.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Natalija Vlacic, American International (So. - Belgrade, Serbia)
Vlacic made a deep run at the ITAs for the Yellow Jackets. She reached the Round of 16, defeating Jenelle Downer of Adelphi, ninth-seeded Isabella Barona of Le Moyne, and Viktoriia Pavlovets of Saint Thomas Aquinas College.
Maria Penalver Aguilo, Franklin Pierce (Jr. - Las Palmas, Spain)
Qualified as a semifinalist in doubles competition this past week at the ITA East Regional Championships, as well as the fourth round (R16) in singles.
Abigail Svor, Saint Anselm (So. - Lewiston, Maine)
Svor aided the Hawks to the doubles point in their match against NCAA Division I Holy Cross. At No. 3 doubles, the sophomore and freshman Camila Heredia Osante posted a 6-4 win. Svor later battled at No. 6 singles, falling by 6-4, 6-4 scores. On Monday, Svor once again aided the Hawks to the doubles point over Assumption with a 6-0 win at No. 3. She also secured the match win for the Hawks at No. 6 singles with a 6-3, 7-5 triumph.
Magdalena Hubickova, So. New Hampshire (Sr. - Prague, Czech Republic)
Hubickova went 10-1 during the week, including 6-0 in doubles with graduate student Alexxa Etienne (Bayamon, Puerto Rico). Hubickova and Etienne downed the University of New Haven's Karim Carreras and Gaayatri Shankar, 7-6 (7-3), at No. 1 doubles in Tuesday's 6-1 victory and then went 5-0 en route to winning the ITA East Regional Championship doubles title. Hubickova recorded a 6-4, 6-2 win over the Chargers' Valentinna Ferrarini at No. 1 singles and then went 3-1 and advanced to the quarterfinals in the singles bracket at ITAs.
