SNHU Won First NE10 Title in Program History in 2022.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Southern New Hampshire earned the top spot in the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Cross Country Coaches' Poll, as announced on Wednesday afternoon by the league office. SNHU is coming off its first-ever NE10 title in the 2022 season.
SNHU tallied 118 points and 10 first-place votes from opposing head coaches, besting both Saint Anselm (104 points) and Adelphi (101 points) for the top position. The Penmen have been tabbed NE10 favorites for the second-consecutive time - including last year when the program won the NE10 Championship and claimed three of the top seven finishes among individual runners.
Saint Anselm and Adelphi both earned one first-place vote. Southern Connecticut (97 points) and Franklin Pierce (72 points) rounded-out the top five in the poll.
The NE10 Cross Country Championships are scheduled for Sunday, October 22, at Stanley Park in Westfield, Mass., and will be hosted by American International College.
