Pleasantville, N.Y. - On October 2nd, Pace University Athletics will be hosting the DJ Henry Memorial Youth Clinic from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Pace Field on its Pleasantville campus. There are over 150 Youth football players registered ages 8-12. Each participant will receive season tickets for the 2011 Pace Football season and schedule magnets.
Each participant will be taught drills on both offense and defense by the 2011 Pace Football team and coaching staff. Last year's youth clinic included over 100 youth players from surrounding towns such as Pleasantville, Briarcliff, Tarrytown, Ossining and Hartsdale.
"We are really excited to get the youth of the Westchester community on our campus and in front of our players to experience Pace football," said Head Coach Chris Dapolito.
There will be a few additions to the this year's event including the Barnes and Noble Mobile store that will be selling Pace Football apparel for the 2011 season and free lunches for the participants when the clinic concludes from a variety of local sponsors of Pace Athletics.
