Le Moyne Earns Top Seed in NE10 Men's Lacrosse Championship

 Dolphins Earn NE10 Regular Season Title


MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Le Moyne Dolphins defeated Adelphi on the final day of the regular season to finish the season undefeated to claim the top seed in the Northeast-10 Men's Lacrosse Championship, which is set to begin with first round play on Saturday afternoon. 

Le Moyne (14-0, 10-0 NE10) edged Adelphi 10-9 in the final match-up of the regular season, finishing undefeated for the first time since the 2021 season. This season the Dolphins had the lowest goals against average at just 7.29 opponent goals per game.  

Bentley (9-4, 8-2 NE10) and Adelphi (14-2, 8-2 NE10) finished the regular season, but the Falcons secured the No. 2 seed due to a head-to-head win over the Panthers over the weekend. Adelphi earned the No. 3 seed heading into the 2023 tournament. Pace (11-3, 7-3) and Saint Anselm (8-3, 7-3 NE10) ended with even conference records, but Pace earned the No. 4 seed and Saint Anselm the No. 5 seed after the Setters defeated the Hawks 10-9 last week. Southern New Hampshire earned the No. 6 to round out the championship field.

In the first round of the NE10 Championship, No. 3 Adelphi will host No. 6 SNHU, while No. 4 Pace will host No. 5 Saint Anselm. Semifinal action will take place on Wednesday, May 3 with the NE10 Championship set for Saturday, May 6 at the highest remaining seed.
