NE10 Player of the Week

Max Katavolos, Saint Michael's
Senior | Attack | Newburyport, Mass.

Senior Max Katavolos turned in six goals, two assists, two ground balls and a caused turnover in a 17-10 win over AIC on Tuesday.


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Bryan Powers, Bentley
Senior | Defense | Holden, Mass.

Powers had four caused turnovers and five ground balls, both career-highs, in Bentley's 16-5 win over SNHU on April 25 to close out the regular season. He helped the Bentley defense shutout the Penmen for the final 33-plus minutes of the game.


NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Matt Vavonese, Le Moyne
Senior | Goalkeeper | Syracuse, N.Y.

He registered eight saves, including four in the second quarter, as the top-ranked Dolphins defeated fifth-ranked Adelphi in Garden City on Tuesday, 10-9, to clinch the top seed in the NE10 Championship. He also caused three turnovers and scooped up a pair of ground balls.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Benjamin Riggs, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Short Stick Defensive Midfielder | Plainville, Mass.

Freshman short-stick defensive midfielder Benjamin Riggs collected a goal, five ground balls and two caused turnovers during a 17-10 win over AIC on Tuesday.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll  

Devon Walker, AIC (Gr., M - Pittsfield, Mass.)
Walker had a strong final career game as a two-way midfielder, scoring a hat trick and adding two assists for a five-point performance at Saint Michael's.

Jack Galvin, Assumption (Jr., A - Yarmouth, Mass.)
At Saint Anselm on Tuesday, Galvin forced a game-high four turnovers as he helped lock down the Hawks' offense and kept Assumption within striking distance for the whole contest.

Sam Maciel, Assumption (Jr., A - Narragansett, R.I.)
Maciel made all four of his shots count at Saint Anselm on Tuesday, as the junior attackman scored on each of his four shots. He added an assist for a five-point output on the road.

Garrett Witt, Bentley (So., M - Fredrick, Mass.)
Witt had a career high five goals to lead the Bentley offense in its 16-5 victory over SNHU. He scored the first four goals of the game in a row in the 1st quarter.

Joey Pezzimenti, Le Moyne (Jr., A - Victor, N.Y.)
He recorded four points on three goals and one assist, including the go-ahead goal, as the top-ranked Dolphins overcame a 6-1 deficit to defeat fifth-ranked Adelphi, 10-9, in Garden City on Tuesday to clinch the top seed in the NE10 Championship.

Justin Chenaille, Le Moyne (Jr., D - Delmar, N.Y.)
He registered two caused turnovers and picked up two ground balls in top-ranked Le Moyne's 10-9 come-from-behind victory over fifth-ranked Adelphi on the road on Tuesday.

Jack Andrews, Saint Anselm (Sr., M - Cumberland, R.I.)
Andrews netted three goals including the eventual game-winning goal in an extra-man opportunity in the Hawks regular season finale on Tuesday. The senior attempted 16 shots, putting six of them on goal. He also collected one ground ball.

Ryan Finneran, Saint Anselm (Sr., D - Andover, Mass.)
In his first collegiate start, Finneran matched a team-high with one turnover and scooped up one ground ball in the Hawks 15-13 win over Assumption to conclude the regular season.

David Olsen, Saint Anselm (Sr., GK -Salem, N.H.)
Olsen made 10 saves in the Hawks regular season finale, posting a 43.5% save percentage with a 13.00 goals-against average, aiding Saint Anselm to a 15-13 win over Assumption in the contest.

Nathan Woods, Saint Michael's (Jr., SSDM - Ottawa, Ontario)
Junior short-stick defensive midfielder Nathan Woods recorded one assist, five ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 17-10 win against AIC on Tuesday.
