35 NE10 Players Earn All-Region Honors.
MANSFIELD, Mass. - Saint Anselm's Ryan Slattery has been named the USILA North Region Defensive Players of the Year, as the Northeast-10 Conference had 35 student-athletes across six programs honored with All-Region honors.
Six NE10 players joined Slattery with First Team accolades. Adelphi led the conference with three first-team selections, and Le Moyne and Saint Anselm both had two first teamers. Le Moyne led with 10 overall, followed by Adelphi with nine and Saint Anselm with six.
Slattery was the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year and led Saint Anselm to a 10-5 record this season. He recorded 31 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers to anchor the Hawks' defense.
Adelphi's Dylan Renner, the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year, was a First Team All-Region selection, joined by teammates Joe Duchnowski and Kyle Steinbach. Joey Pezzimenti (Le Moyne), Anthony Caputo (Pace), and Will Harvey (Saint Anselm) rounded out this year's USILA First Team.
