UMass Lowell, Franklin Pierce all appear in East
poll
SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – The second edition of the NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer East Regional Rankings was released on Wednesday afternoon and featured four Northeast-10 Conference schools filling the eight slots.

No. 20 Southern New Hampshire University (13-3, 9-3 NE-10) was ranked second in the rankings, up one spot from last week’s edition of the regional poll. The Penmen were behind only LIU Post, which is currently second in the nation.
No. 16 Merrimack College (11-2-2, 9-2-1 NE-10) was ranked third, also up one spot from last week. The Warriors are 9-0-1 in their last 10 games and moved up nine spots from No. 25 in the latest NSCAA poll.
The University of Massachusetts Lowell (12-3-1, 10-2 NE-10), which is receiving votes in the latest national poll, dropped two spots to fourth. The River Hawks were recently ranked as high as fifth in the nation – the team’s highest ranking in program history – but have dropped three of their last four, including road losses at nationally ranked LIU Post and So. New Hampshire.
Franklin Pierce University (9-4-2, 7-3-2 NE-10) dropped from fifth to seventh in the second edition of the East Regional rankings.
The third and final edition of the regional rankings is
scheduled for release next Wednesday, Oct. 31.
The Northeast-10 Conference is an association of 16 NCAA Division
II colleges and universities located in New England and New York
that is committed to supporting balanced academic and athletic
opportunities for more than 6,000 student-athletes. Each year,
